Amber Young is a Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, Cancer Survivor and Breast Health Educator. She offers her care through a trauma-informed lens, and has a diverse background in breast health, chronic illness, stress management and relaxation techniques. Amber has a deep respect for the healing of an individual’s physical, emotional and mental health. When we are supported and offered therapeutic space to acknowledge and release patterns of holding in our bodies, we have the potential to find our way to feeling whole. Graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC and in practice since 2004, she has training and a wealth of experience in; traditional massage techniques, Craniosacral Therapy, Breast Massage, Energy Modalities, Somatoemotional Release, Myofascial work, sound therapy, basic lymphatic drainage, end of life care and chronic illness. Amber has a strong focus in her practice supporting folks through cancer treatment and beyond.
