Patricia is an RMT in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She practiced as a physiotherapist in Mexico, providing personalized rehabilitation care to a diverse community. She completed her Massage Therapy Diploma at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Canada. As an RMT she has conducted comprehensive assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and provided self-care education. She has treated diverse populations, including, palliative, elders, prenatal, post partum, infants, post-surgical clients, and individuals with complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She is an experienced prenatal and post partum therapist, helping women to reduce discomfort, swelling, and musculoskeletal strain while promoting relaxation and overall well-being. She is also knowledgeable in TMJ dysfunction, and has experience providing intraoral therapeutic massage to reduce soft and connective tissue tightness/ discomfort of the mandible. Her clinical knowledge of motor development, tone regulation, and functional movement of infants/children is the foundation of her pediatric therapeutic massage. Her treatments to infants focus on supporting motor development, reducing tension, and enhancing parent–infant bonding through therapeutic touch and education. Patricia is fluent in English and is a native Spanish speaker. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected.
