Dr. Dagbjört “Dagga” Magnúsdóttir uses a combination of functional movement assessments, soft tissue therapy, and individualized rehab programs to create long-lasting results. Her focus is on restoring optimal movement patterns, preventing injury, and helping each patient move, feel, and perform at their best. Dr. Dagga works with people of all ages and activity levels – from those recovering from everyday aches and pains to youth athletes, weekend warriors, and elite competitors. A lifelong athlete, Dr. Dagga participated in both track and soccer, and her personal experience with sports injuries led her to seek holistic, functional care that focuses on root causes – not just the symptoms. From competing at a collegiate level for five years in short and long sprints (200-800m) to training with World Champions, Olympians, and the Icelandic National Track Team, she knows first hand how to approach both performance and recovery. History Dr. Dagbjört Magnúsdóttir was born and raised in Reykjavík, Iceland. After high school, she received a sports scholarship from Life University in Marietta, GA, competing in NAIA Track and Field. Dr. Dagga earned a Bachelor of Science in both Biology and Interdisciplinary Studies at Life University, and went on to complete her Doctorate of Chiropractic, also from Life University. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her outdoors as much as possible - running, hiking, jet skiing, wakeboarding, skydiving, or anything that gets her heart rate up. She also loves exploring new coffee shops and brunch spots, traveling the world, and spending time with friends and family.
