Janeth received a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Loyola University and a Master’s in Education from Aurora University. For a decade, prior to becoming a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist, Janeth was a dual-language (English/Spanish) elementary teacher. Through her personal journey with infertility she discovered and fell in love with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Within months of receiving acupuncture treatments herself, she became pregnant. She and her husband now have three beautiful children! This led her to Midwest College of Oriental Medicine where she obtained a combined Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. Janeth utilizes her educational background to provide approachable healthcare for her patients. Her compassionate and kindhearted demeanor creates a warm, healing, and welcoming space for her patients. She has extensive experience treating numerous conditions including: regulating hormonal and menstrual cycles, digestive disorders, allergies, insomnia, fertility, stress, and chronic pain. When not in the clinic, Janeth loves spending quality time with her family, traveling, and gardening! She is also constantly studying and learning new acupuncture and herbal techniques to use and adapt into her clinical practice.
