Dr. Elisa Santiago first received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph. Her passion in natural health, science and in education, led her to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she graduated as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005. During her education, she had worked with HIV/AIDS patients at Sherbourne Health Center, and also at the Aboriginal clinic at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. Dr. Santiago has also pursued additional education in Cosmetic Acupuncture and has traveled to Asia broadening her education in Acupuncture and Asian Medicine. She has appeared on television (CP24–Wylde on Health) and continues to speak at educational seminars. She continues to travel to Kenya, Africa, as a Naturopathic Doctor, leading studies to decrease general illnesses and increase awareness of natural health. Dr. Santiago is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy and licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in the province of Ontario. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). Dr. Santiago enjoys her General Family Practice, working with patients of all ages and conditions with a special interest in Women’s health, Digestive health, and Skin health. Her passion is to promote wellness on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, allowing her to recognize individual needs and to create personalized treatment plans.
Body Work includes manual therapy/massage, acupuncture and/or cupping and mobilization of the affected area.
