Liji is a passionate and motivated Registered Physiotherapist. She has experience in treating a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal (Back/Neck pain, work/car accidents, Canadian veteran rehabilitation), neurological (stroke, TBI, Guillain- Barre Syndrome, Bell’s Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Parkinson’s) and cardiorespiratory (fractured ribs, teaching breathing patterns, etc). She is a physiotherapy graduate from India who worked in a multi-specialty hospital in different medical and surgical ICU departments. She has completed her Master’s program in Sports Therapy from the United Kingdom. Liji had the opportunity to work with the England Rugby League as a Sports Therapist where she provided pre and post-rehab during games. She is also a licensed Physical Therapist in the United States and has experience working and volunteering in different clinical settings. Liji has been responsible for developing and supervising exercise programs, gait analysis and training, taping, etc. She has been educating her patients about proper sitting posture, sleeping positions, workout modifications, ergonomics, lifting techniques, and proper running. She has since been collaborating with many practitioners and taking various courses, further enriching her skillset. These courses include Manual therapy, Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Cupping, Blading, Strengthening, and Shockwave therapy.

Initial Assessment

A thorough assessment of your injury or condition, which may take up to 60 minutes. Completed in a private room with access to an exercise gym, if necessary. Choose this option if you are a new client, have a new injury, or it has been more than 3 months since your previous appointment.
