Bridget is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Since childhood she’s had a strong desire to care for others; Bridget is passionate about helping clients feel a sense of ease, comfort, and rejuvenation for their body and mind. Her sessions help the body unwind from the pain cycle pattern it may be stuck in and help the mind replenish itself, which supports the body’s innate healing capacity. Bridget incorporates various techniques during her treatments to help provide clients with a decrease in pain, improve range of motion, minimize swelling, and promote relaxation/stress reduction. She has experience working with scar tissue, chronic pain, Swedish/relaxation, myofascial release, Therapeutic/deep tissue, mental health conditions, and prenatal/postnatal massage.
Deep tissue massage is a treatment aimed at targeting chronic muscle tension and areas of pain or discomfort in the body. Techniques focus on reaching deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue and using firm pressure to release tension. This massage helps to break up scar tissue, reduce adhesions, and decrease muscle stiffness. Note: Deep tissue massage is more intense and may involve discomfort as the therapist works to release knots and tightness
