Phoenix Community Acupuncture was founded in 2011 by Mayo Mercedes Wardle, L.AC., Dipl. OM, AZ license 0726, with the goal of bringing affordable and accessible acupuncture to as many people as possible. Mayo studied acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in the People's Republic of China, and graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in New Mexico. She uses a gentle technique that combines her studies in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles. Mayo is passionate about affordable and accessible acupuncture. Her particular interests are pain, emotional syndromes, and women’s health. In her spare time Mayo is chasing after her daughter, dancing, and thinking she’s funny.
- A Body Sculpt Session is performed in a private room. Clients will have acupuncture needles placed to focus on metabolic health and address any other health concerns, along with a three-panel light therapy device which shrinks fat cells. Body Sculpt Sessions are $85 - $165 per session. These sessions do need to be repeated for visible and measurable results.
