Dr. Ralf Schurmann, DC

Dr. Ralf Schurmann, DC Dr. Ralf was born and raised in Germany but spent much of his childhood and high school years in Wisconsin. In 1997, a motorcycle accident left him with severe headaches and neck pain, leading him to seek chiropractic care. The fast and effective relief he experienced sparked a passion for the field and a lifelong commitment to helping others through chiropractic. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse before enrolling at the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001. He graduated with high honors in 2004 and began his career in Wisconsin. Drawn to the mountains and the outdoor lifestyle, Dr. Ralf went on to practice in Montana, Arizona, and Idaho for the next 17 years. In 2023, he and his wife, Caroline, briefly returned to Wisconsin—but their hearts remained in the mountains. In 2024, they fulfilled a lifelong dream of relocating to Alaska, where they have fully embraced the adventurous lifestyle. Outside the clinic, Dr. Ralf enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dachshunds. He loves hunting, camping, snowmachining, and exploring all that Alaska has to offer.
