Initial Physiotherapy Assessment

During the initial assessment the physiotherapist will ask you about your current symptoms, your health history, and your goals. Then, they will bring you through a comprehensive physical examination, which involves an analysis of strength, range of motion, sensation, reflexes, and functional movement. With the information gathered in the assessment the physiotherapist will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals of care.
