I started my career as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2001 after graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College. I felt the best I ever had during my course—at first I didn’t connect the dots, but being massaged every week was suddenly affecting me in so many positive ways! I was sleeping better, aches and pains were not as persistent and best of all, the headaches I had dealt with for years were starting to decrease in amount and severity. I was amazed with these changes in myself and am always happy when I hear that I’ve helped other people achieve their own personal goals and positive changes. I have worked in a wide variety of settings over the past 20 years; chiropractic offices, physiotherapy clinics, Ste. Anne’s Spa, mobile massage and I have also worked out of my home. These have been such vastly different atmospheres but the one thing that stays constant is the benefit of massage, especially on a regular basis. Chronic pain, inflammation, headaches, insomnia, blood pressure and circulation issues are all things that have been proven to improve with massage therapy treatment. I would love to work with you on a plan to help reach your wellness goals. When I’m not working, my three kids keep me very busy! I love music and concerts, basketball and animals. I am almost always found with a smile on my face and I am really looking forward to meeting you! Questions? Contact me, Kate Gallagher, RMT directly at [email protected] or 905.914.0437
