A born and raised Islander, Ivy (she/her) (fluent in english and french) graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University and completed her masters of physiotherapy at McGill. What truly drives Ivy as a physiotherapist is her belief in empowering individuals to take control of their own healing. She accomplishes this by leveraging evidence-based exercises and movement. Ivy’s holistic approach emphasizes understanding not only a client’s physical impairments but also the broader bio-psycho-social factors that may be contributing to their injuries. This comprehensive perspective ensures that she provides the most effective and personalized care for her clients. As a decade-long rower (with three world championships and Canadian national team training under her belt), Ivy is particularly interested in athletic injuries, injury prevention and women’s health with a focus on pelvic floor therapy and chronic pain management. In her daily life, Ivy cherishes spending quality time with friends, cooking, and finding tranquility through exercise. Ivy’s commitment to movement is reflected in her enthusiasm for trail & road running, cycling, racket sports, and weightlifting.
