Katie is a fourth year student, currently completing her clinical training at the Yo San University clinic. Katie has a bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from the University of Pittsburgh and is pursuing a Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at Yo San University. Katie sees the value in both Western and Eastern medicines and uses an integrative approach to health and wellness. Katie is particularly interested in treating women’s health, musculoskeletal pain, and support for healthy aging. In addition to being a full-time student, Katie also works as a hospice nurse. In her free time, Katie enjoys camping, reading, crocheting, drinking tea, and spending time with loved ones.
