Mariana is a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with over a decade of experience, originally trained in Brazil and now practicing in Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (2014) and has pursued extensive post-graduate education in Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions, Women’s Health, and Orthopedic Conditions. From the very beginning of her career, Mariana has been deeply dedicated to helping women manage and overcome pelvic health issues, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, prenatal care and postpartum recovery. Her commitment to professional excellence led her to complete a two-year post-graduate program in Brazil, followed by further advanced training in Canada in pelvic floor rehabilitation and related conditions. Mariana believes in patient-centered care, where active listening and collaboration are key. She takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and goals, conducting detailed assessments to uncover the root causes of dysfunction. Her treatment plans are tailored to the individual and may include therapeutic exercise, patient education, manual therapy, and evidence-based modalities. Her ultimate goal is to empower her patients to regain control over their health and quality of life. In addition to pelvic health, Mariana has advanced training and years of experience in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in low back pain using the McKenzie Method for treatment.
