Tyrina’s journey into massage therapy began with a background as an aesthetician, where she developed hands-on experience providing relaxation treatments and skincare services. Working in a multidisciplinary clinic as an administrative assistant, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact of massage therapy on patients’ well-being. Inspired, she expanded her skills as a bodyworker, further refining her ability to support clients through therapeutic touch. Her time at VCMT’s school clinic, The Mend, along with various outreach programs, deepened her appreciation for the positive effects of massage on diverse clients. Tyrina is dedicated to promoting wellness and rehabilitation through movement, patient education, and personalized care. She integrates a range of therapeutic techniques, including myofascial release, Swedish massage, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy, and neuromuscular techniques, tailoring treatments to each client’s needs. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her at the gym, exploring new food spots, or trying out activities that keep her moving and inspired.
