This appointment is for NEW and RETURNING Clients for a 60 Minute appointment including Hot Stone Therapy. This service needs 2 hours notice to heat up the stones. Call the office for same day bookings. What is this service? Stone massage therapy combines massage with the therapeutic use of stones that are heated or cooled in water. The stones are either massaged over the body or placed upon specific areas. Heat therapy causes increased sweating, improved circulation, and relaxed muscle tissue which in turn leads to reduced pain. Cold therapy decreases inflammation, spasms, and soreness. Heat and cold stone therapy together provides a contrast of vasoconstriction and vasodilation of blood vessels.
