Sheila has been a licensed Physiotherapist in the Philippines since 2002. She has been licensed in Canada since 2015. Sheila has worked with different age groups, and in different settings, treating different musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurologic conditions. Her passion is in the conventional/nonsurgical treatment of scoliosis, and spine deformities. She is one of very few Scoliosis Specific Physiotherapists in Canada and is fully certified in the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School’s (BSPTS) Rigo Method, and Schroth with SSOL. She believes in continuous learning and keeps herself up to date with current practice knowledge to be able to serve her clients best, and as evidence-based as possible. Outside of her professional life, Sheila is a family-woman who is a mother to five young children. She enjoys reading, and cooking.
