Arnprior Pelvic & Pediatric Physiotherapy

Arnprior Pelvic & Pediatric Physiotherapy

201 Daniel St S, Arnprior, ON, K7S 2L9

Tessa has a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. During her studies she had experiences working with the Varsity Women’s Volleyball team, providing injury bracing services at an orthopedic store and an internship at a pediatric physiotherapy clinic. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2024. Through her multiple clinical placements she had exposure to treating individuals of all ages and stages from infants to older adults. Some highlights include a placement in a chronic pain clinic, a Children’s Treatment Centre in Northern Ontario and a sports injury clinic. Her personal experience of being both a competitive dancer and a track athlete growing up meant that she was no stranger to injuries. In her clinical practice, Tessa embodies a client lead approach where she believes in collaboration to determine goals of care. Tessa uses an evidence based approach and is always seeking out new information to inform her practice. She has taken a special interest in working with infants, and has taken multiple continuing education courses to support little ones with a range of conditions including feeding difficulties and torticollis. When not in the clinic, you can find Tessa enjoying different forms of physical activity, reading a good book, spending time with friends/family and volunteering in the community.
