Bhavana graduated from NTR University India in 2006 and began clinical practice in India. Moved to Canada in 2016 and has been working in private sector in Alberta and British Columbia since then. Bhavana enjoys working in the field of Orthopaedics and has taken many post- graduate courses. A keen interest in manual therapy motivated Bhavana to pursue Master of Clinical Science in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MClSc-CMP) through Western University. Bhavana is a fellow in the Canadian Manual and Manipulative Therapy division for advanced training in orthopaedics (FCAMPT). Bhavana enjoys the challenge of diagnosing complex cases and implementing appropriate, integrated treatment strategies aimed at helping people move better and get back to their regular activities of life. Bhavana has helped patients from all walks of life, which continually motivates her to remain a life-long learner, staying current on emerging evidence and best practices in assessing and managing musculoskeletal conditions. Bhavana has a special interest in treating TMJ related pain and vestibular dysfunctions such as vertigo, dizziness, and balance disorders. She is certified to perform GUNN intramuscular stimulation (IMS) and Acupuncture. Bhavana is easy to get along with and enjoys working with all age groups. She can communicate in English, Hindi, and Telugu. Outside of physiotherapy Bhavana enjoys travelling, spending time with family, reading books, and playing badminton.
