Jake, a Douglas County Native, has lived in the Lawrence area most of his life. In 2012, Jake graduated from Wellspring School of Allied Health with an Associates Degree in Integrative Massage and Wellness. Jake’s multi-faceted background, from significant weight loss to becoming an NASM certified personal trainer and massage therapist, highlights a diverse and holistic approach to wellness. His commitment to martial arts, teaching, and various recreational activities promotes his love for treating all levels of athletes. With Jake specializing in Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Assisted Stretching, and “Fire and Ice Massage” it equips him with tools to effectively work with clients that deal chronic pain issues. He has also completed continuing education courses with Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT) for the neck and head as well as the shoulder, arm and hand that teach neuromuscular techniques to treat a multitude of conditions that affect those areas of the body.
