From a young age, Paniz developed a deep passion for leading a healthy, active lifestyle and participating in various sports. She began competitive swimming at the age of seven and continued to excel in short-distance running into adulthood. Paniz earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University, where she gained a strong foundation in understanding the principles of healthy living and overcoming lifestyle barriers. After graduating, she discovered a love for weightlifting and began a career as a personal trainer. In this role, she worked one-on-one with clients, not only helping them achieve weight loss goals but also guiding them toward sustainable, healthier lifestyles. Driven to expand her expertise, Paniz pursued a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom, where she had the opportunity to work at one of the top and largest teaching hospitals in Europe. This experience allowed her to treat patients with a wide range of conditions, specializing in neurological rehabilitation, particularly for stroke patients. Later, she transitioned to working closely with orthopedic patients, including rugby players, and gained valuable experience collaborating with hand and plastic surgeons to treat wrist and hand pathologies. In her free time, Paniz continues to pursue her passion for weightlifting and has recently started exploring the world of kickboxing.
