Prior to attending PT school, Casey earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in Sociolinguistics from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mary Washington. Casey began practicing in Asheville North Carolina, where she worked for several years before moving home to Richmond. Casey specializes in the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders of various ages, particularly the treatment of overhead athletes and runners. She utilizes the use of high-velocity, low-amplitude manipulations for back and neck-related conditions as well as the incorporation of dry needling. Casey has also earned an advanced certificate in the treatment of vestibular diagnoses and concussion care. Her professional interests include orthopedics, neurologic, vestibular, amputee care, injury prevention, return to sport, and return to work. Fun fact: After playing for the University of Mary Washington, Casey played professional softball in Sweden leading her team to a Swedish National Championship and an appearance at EuroCup in Haarlem, The Netherlands. In her spare time, she enjoys distance running and spending time with her family.
