Dr. Charlene Banbury grew up in Peterborough, Ontario. She enjoys spending time with her two sons, her husband and her two dogs. Over the years she has enjoyed watching her boys play hockey at the Millbrook Arena and soccer at Mapleleaf park in Cavan. Dr. Banbury completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University in 1995. She continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (C.M.C.C.) in Toronto, where she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1999. She began her career practicing in Cobourg and Colborne before moving back to Peterborough where she has been in practice for 22 years. Dr. Banbury enjoys using a variety of techniques to give each patient an individual program to help them reach their wellness goals. This can include acupuncture as she is certified through McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and the acupuncture education program through CMCC. It can also include Cranial Adjustments. Dr. Banbury is certified in Cranial Adjusting through Turner Technique and Upledger Institute. She can also help her patients with pregnancy related issues and is certified in Webster technique. Other treatments can include myofascial deep tissue therapy, stretches, mobilizations, acupressure or laser therapy. Dr. Banbury and her family have made Cavan-Monaghan Township their home for over 22 years. She is very excited to be working within her community and looking forward to working with Dr. Taylor Bonner and the Cavan Chiropractic team.
A detailed history, physical, diagnosis and report of findings will be delivered. Treatment is included in your initial visit based on the report of findings.
