Back to Basics Wellness Center
1220 North Leroy St., Fenton, MI, 48430
I have always wanted to help people, since I was a little girl. This desire first lead to me becoming an occupational therapist, which I have been for nearly 20 years now. Now, it has prompted me to become a licensed massage therapist. I want to help my clients meet their goal of having a massage. Whether it be to relax or find relief from a painful muscle, I am ready to assist you! I work with essential oils and would love to incorporate their use into your massage if requested. Just please let me know which oils you would like used when you schedule your appointment. I would also be happy to create your own music playlist during your massage! Let me know when you schedule your appointment what music style, or artist(s) you would like and I will create a playlist for your enjoyment.
Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then applied with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a technique that focuses on specific pressure points within your feet to help correct energy flows throughout your body.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
