After graduating college with a Bachelor Degree in Art, I decided to attend Massage school. As much as I love and appreciate Art, I felt like my calling was something in the area of Healing. I thought about Nursing, but it still didn't feel right. So I enrolled and graduated from Healing Hands Institute for Massage Therapy in Westwood, NJ in 2001. After 20+ years of massaging, I still love working with people and animals to help stay healthy, Yes, I am also certified in Massage Therapy and Sound Healing on animals (cats & dogs). But what really caught my interest was Oncology Massage. I attended specialized classes in Oncology & Terminal Illness Massage, along with Mastectomy Massage. I have been specializing in these techniques since those classes in the early 2000's.
Massage
Effective approach to pain relief, which seeks the specific pain, tension, or discomfort in order to give comforting relief. It is not always effective in one session, but may need a process of several sessions.
Lymphatic Drainage
Facial Massage includes massage on your face, neck, shoulders and scalp. Minimal, if any, oil is used and is great for increased blood circulation, decreased puffiness and encourage lymph drainage. This service consists of massage techniques on the face to help relieve tension in the face, neck and head and can help drain sinuses. It includes Gua Sha and lymphatic drainage. THIS IS NOT A FACIAL.
