Julie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Adventure and Tourism in 2012. She guided outdoor trips for several years from sea-kayaking to hiking. Julie enjoys a very active lifestyle, always in movement she wanted to get a better understanding of human anatomy. She enrolled in a 200 hrs yoga teacher training in 2018 before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. Julie graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2020. Passionate about health and self-care, she thrives to offer massage treatment to help alleviate pain to improve quality of life. She uses diverse techniques such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue and orthopedic assessments to set and achieve treatment goals. Also using her yoga knowledge, utilizing the breath to calm down the nervous system for longer lasting benefits. Always committed to continuous learning, Julie is excited to begin Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) in the Spring of 2026 to further support her clients. In her free time, Julie can be found in the mountains, hiking, skiing or mountain biking. If not in the mountains she will be hanging out in her garden with her friends, family, and her four chickens.
