Dean completed his Bachelors of Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle in Australia. He previously graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Victoria. Dean is continually furthering his Manual Therapy education with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and furthering his skills with advanced training in Trigger Point Dry Needling (similar to IMS/Acupuncture). He has been working as a physiotherapist in Campbell River since 2009. He has also completed training in industrial ergonomics and provides work-site ergonomic evaluations and injury risk assessments. Dean has a special interest in working with clients with chronic pain and is a strong promoter of injury prevention. With his company, D.R.Rehab Inc., Dean provides physiotherapy at The Seafarer Clinic, New Horizons Care Home, Brown’s Bay Fish Packing and different locations in more rural Vancouver Island. He really enjoys a flexible and unhurried environment through his physio care and enjoys getting to see people in their work settings. Within the community he enjoys running, spending time with his wife and children and the occasional glass of red wine!
