Meet Dr. Kati! She graduated in 2016 from National University of Health Sciences as a chiropractic physician . While in school she worked for an acupuncturist for a year, where she saw the lives of so many people changed for the better. This moved her to go on to get her certificate in acupuncture . After graduation she had her first baby, Wyatt, then started working for The Joint Chiropractic. With that being a high-volume, adjustment only clinic, she was able to hone her adjustment skills to tailor to each person’s needs. She then had another baby, Leo, when she realized her love of treating babies. She’s had great success clearing colic and ear infections . Also, as a former pregnant woman (twice), she saw first hand how beneficial chiropractic and acupuncture were for her. Chiropractic kept her sciatica and other physical discomforts at bay, while acupuncture kept her nausea and swelling to a minimum. ___ ###Why Dr. Kati Became a Doctor She knew at a very young age that she wanted to go into the medical field, but not in the traditional MD sense. She hated drugs as the solution to everyone’s problems, and she especially hated seeing her mom in so much pain for years with no answers. Eventually the doctors told her it was all in her head, so it was Dr. Kati’s goal to become a doctor and figure her out. She didn’t know anything about chiropractic until her last year at Western Illinois University, but as soon as she learned their philosophy there was no turning back. Even though she had never been adjusted she knew this was her calling.
