Karina graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy. She has spent her career connecting and working with a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and concerns, ranging from sport-related issues and everyday aches to long-standing pain and functional limitations. Patient education and exploring pain-free ways to move play a crucial role in her approach to treatment. Karina views each joint as one piece of a larger picture, which she always considers when assessing and treating. She has completed post-graduate certifications in Acupuncture, GUNN IMS Dry Needling, NeuroKinetic Therapy, Anatomy in Motion, and other functional movement–based approaches. Karina grew up playing hockey, ringette and soccer. These days, if not running after her son Cole, Karina still enjoys getting in a quick round of golf with her husband. She also loves spending time in the kitchen, sharing her creativity through cooking with family and friends.
