Hi, I’m Ivan! I’m a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, with a background in Kinesiology from York University. I’ve always enjoyed staying active, from practicing Taekwondo to playing baseball, street hockey, and badminton growing up. That love of movement, combined with my passion for helping people, drew me to rehabilitation and manual therapy. Over a few years, I worked as a Registered Kinesiologist in multidisciplinary clinics. I created exercise-based programs to help people regain mobility, return to work, and move pain-free in their daily lives. As I explored my own aches and pains from badminton and weight training, I discovered how massage therapy could support recovery, both physically and mentally. This drove me to pursue massage therapy and focus on providing hands-on care. I specialize in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, blending techniques from Swedish and Thai massage, stretching, and joint mobilization. I like to keep treatments focused and functional while helping you feel relaxed. Each session is tailored to your goals, whether that’s pain relief, improving performance, or relaxation, often including practical exercises to help you feel and move your best, long after your treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, playing badminton, and cheering on my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
If you are seeing our Massage Therapists for the first time, you must have an Initial Assessment during your first visit. This 60 minute visit includes and assessment and the remainder of the session is utilized for treatment.
