Daneen is an Registered Massage Therapist that graduated from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. With her background in competitive sports, massage therapy played a big role in injury prevention and pain management. She believes in figuring out the main source of pain by implementing thorough assessments. She incorporates myofascial stretching, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, and Swedish massage techniques into her treatments. Daneen brings her work experience from both a multi-disciplinary clinic and a spa environment. She believes that movement is medicine and staying active is a priority in her life. Massage
Relax with a Swedish Massage, where soft tissues of the body are manipulated to revive tired muscles and increase circulation or choose to recharge your body and release tension with a Deep Tissue Massage. This treatment includes a 30 minute Red Light Therapy session within your scheduled time, on a clean surface of the skin. The Inferred Red Light Therapy will help enhance muscle function while reducing pain and inflammation.
Acupuncture
ASSESMENT REQUIRED: 30 minutes of acupuncture 30 minute massage Please wear comfortable clothing. Acupuncture can be used as an effective modality for treating musculoskeletal injuries such as tennis elbow, sciatic nerve pain, neck pain and low back pain, etc. This therapeutic involves the gentle insertion of fine needles at specific points on the body to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and stimulate the body's natural healing response. By improving circulation and calming the nervous system, acupuncture helps relieve muscle tension, support tissue repair and restore healthy movement patterns.
