Dr. John Botefuhr is a fifth-generation native Dallasite with deep roots in the East Dallas Community. After graduating from high school in 1988, he completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1992. He studied Culinary Arts before shifting all of his focus to his passion for healthcare and helping people in need by earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. Upon graduating in 2000, Dr. Botefuhr returned to East Dallas, opening his first clinic in 2009 on Greenville Avenue before launching Adjust Chiropractic near the Arboretum in 2011. He is active in the chiropractic profession, while also serving as a member of numerous community boards and volunteer committees. A resident of Casa View Haven since 2007, Dr. Botefuhr spends his free time working out at the White Rock YMCA, biking or walking at White Rock Lake, cooking at home or firing up the barbecue pit.
