Marquise Swaby completed his Master of Physical Therapy at Western University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University. He has extensive experience treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, concussions, and performance-related injuries in athletes ranging from recreational to professional levels. Marquise is recognized for working with complex and persistent musculoskeletal presentations that have not fully responded to prior care. Through detailed assessment, clinical reasoning, and individualized programming, he helps patients move past perceived treatment plateaus and regain confidence in their bodies. His approach integrates manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, progressive loading, and education to support sustainable recovery. He holds certifications in acupuncture and dry needling, as well as CCMI Concussion Management, and remains committed to ongoing professional development. With a strong focus on mentorship and community involvement, Marquise has contributed to Team Canada Women’s Basketball, NBA player-led camps, and entertainment industry professionals, including CoComelon Party Time performers. He has also led and supported mentorship initiatives, educational programming, and community discussions through Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Western University MPT program, and schools across the Greater Toronto Area. Outside of clinical practice, Marquise enjoys exploring diverse cuisines, traveling, and staying active through running, weightlifting, and basketball. He is passionate about empowering individuals through movement, promoting long-term physical and mental well-being, and supporting initiatives that expand access, representation, and resources for marginalized communities.
