Born and raised in the mountains of Montana, Lizattended Carroll College and began a career in criminal justice and advocacy. Later, she attended Sacred Roots School of Massage Therapy and began a dedicated career working for a large practice and eventually running a busy massage therapy business. Liz values confidentiality, inclusiveness, and safety and encompasses compassion and curiosity in her practice. With a long list of tools including neuromuscular, myofascial, and mind-body techniques, Liz's massages are deeply relaxing with a balanced focus on the muscular system for pain management and rehabilitation, and the parasympathetic nervous system to put the mind and body at ease. Aside from bodywork, Liz has also been involved in massage therapy education and is always eager to learn and explore. Outside of the treatment room, Liz can be found surrounded by a menagerie of animals in the garden or exploring the outdoors on foot, horseback, or by kayak.
Not unlike traditional massage, however we take into account special considerations such as proper positioning with the use of bolsters, understanding contraindications for certain circumstances and making appropriate modifications to meet the needs of the expecting mother.
