Anshika believes in long term pain relief by finding the root cause of the problem and treating it. Her treatment approach involves hands on therapy, *iMWM, IMS, Exercises, patient education and use of various modalities such as Cupping, Shockwave, US & IFC.** She has a unique work experience throughout her career ranging from treating Musculoskeletal /Sports injuries including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain, bursitis, shin splints, tennis elbow ACL injuries, pre/post therapy for surgical hip/knee/shoulder replacements etc. Her expertise also includes treating neurological conditions such as Stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s, MS etc . Anshika treats Cardiac patients as well for conditions such as heart surgeries, heart failure .She has gained experience working with special needs kids for treating conditions such as CP, Autism, Down Syndrome. She excels in providing treatment to Geriatric Population as well for balance/falls and Alzheimer’s etc. Her prime interest is in Musculoskeletal conditions/ Sports with an in dwelling interest in Women’s health. Her certifications includes Level 1, 2 & 3 Dry Needling, Maitland Manual therapy techniques, Acupuncture Level 1 certification course, Mulligan Mobilization techniques for UE & LE, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and LSVT for Parkinson’s, Level 1 & level 2 Concussion Course. She has completed a 4 ½ year Bachelor’s program in Physiotherapy from RGUHS, India and has received Scholarship to complete her Master’s degree in the US. After which she practiced as a licensed physiotherapist for 9 years in different States across the US. Her husband’s work brought her to Canada about 3 years ago and since then she has been practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist treating Sports / Musculoskeletal & Concussion injuries.
