Dr. Amy graduated from Sheridan College in 2016 with an Honours in Bachelor of Health Sciences, Kinesiology and Health Promotion, as well as her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2020. She competed at a national and international level in swimming, horseback riding, and cheerleading throughout her childhood, high school, and university. Greatest accomplishment was competing for Team Canada in cheerleading. She is a certified Complete Concussion Management provider and a GROWCO ambassador for pregnancy care. Dr. Amy treats a wide variety of conditions with special interests in sport therapy, pregnancy care and family chiropractic. She provides manual therapy using evidence-based care including but not limited to adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehab exercises and taping and enjoys educating her patients to achieve their fitness and health goals.
For custom brace assessments, a brief exam and measurements are performed. Your insurance company requires a prescription with a medical diagnosis from your Medical Doctor for custom braces. Custom braces are ordered through Bauerfeind Sports Canada.
