Hi, Im Atefeh Ghaderia lifelong Blacksburg native and passionate healthcare professional with a heart for healing. My journey began right here in town, from preschool at B.U.M.P. through high school, eventually leading me to earn my Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2006. For over a decade, I worked in hospital settings, from Montgomery Regional to Carilion Memorial, specializing in Neonatal and Pediatric care. I also spent eight enriching years in California, with Stanford Childrens Hospital as my home base. In 2025, I shifted from clinical medicine to therapeutic massage, graduating from Daniels Institute of Massage and Healing Arts in Roanoke under the guidance of Joyce Zhang. My training included Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point release, myofascial work, manual lymphatic drainage, acupressure integration, reflexology, prenatal and infant massage, sports massage, geriatric techniques, aromatherapy, stone therapy, cuppingand more. While I practice a wide range of modalities, Im especially drawn to lymphatic drainage, acupressure, Lomi Lomi, and reflexology, and I plan to pursue advanced certifications in these areas as time permits. I believe finding balance is essential for a harmonized life. Whether youre seeking relief, restoration, or simply a moment to breatheId be honored to support you on your wellness journey.
Massage Therapy
Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle yet powerful bodywork modality that focuses on stimulating defined points on the feet. Each of these points corresponds to specific organs, systems, and functions within the body. By applying pressure and massage techniques to these reflex areas, reflexology encourages a natural reflexive response within the nervous system- promoting relaxation, improving circulation, reducing stress, and supporting the body's overall balance and healing.
