Oscar graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he received his Bachelor’s of Kinesiology degree. Oscar began working as a kinesiologist at a physiotherapy clinic, where he gained experience leading exercise rehabilitation programs to patients of various conditions. He has worked with post-motor vehicle accident patients, older adults, and patients managing chronic pain. Oscar’s interests in strength training and sports, along with his own experiences with injuries and pain, gives him personal insight into the recovery process and the value of purposeful movement. He focuses on creating a strong rapport with each patient and designs personalized exercise rehab programs that meet the unique needs of each individual. Oscar is fluent in English and conversational Cantonese. Outside the clinic, he enjoys resistance training, nature walks, and checking out new food places in town.

Your kinesiologist will customize an exercise prescription and provide education regarding pain-management techniques, pacing, and injury prevention.
