She has experience treating various conditions from sprains or strains to rehabilitation for fractures and post-operative conditions. Briana uses education, manual therapy, soft tissue work, cupping, acupuncture, shockwave therapy and active exercise programs to get her patients back to full function. Briana has experience providing rehabilitation for running injuries and has completed courses through the The Running Clinic. She has worked with runners from novice to elite to manage current injuries but also to prevent them in the future. She really enjoys working with an active population and has worked a variety of athletes including: runners, tri-athletes, skiers, soccer players, and dancers. With a background in Kinesiology Briana believes in health promotion and really enjoys helping her patients achieve their athletic and fitness goals. **Types of Injuries/Conditions that you treat** Special interest in knee and shoulder (pre and post-operative) rehabilitation. Experience in non-surgical and surgical rehabilitation for knee injuries including: ACL tear, PCL tear, MCL tear, patellar tendon tear, patellar or quad tendinopathy, meniscus tears, osteoarthritis and total knee replacement. She is passionate about working with patients with complex knee injuries to help them return to every day activities and the sports that they enjoy. Experience in treating various shoulder pathologies including: rotator cuff tear, rotator cuff tendinopathy, surgical repairs: rotator cuff or labral, AC joint sprains, proximal humerus or clavicular fractures. Experience in administering shockwave therapy for conditions including: tennis elbow, plantarfasciitis, tendinopathy, bony conditions, and for myofascial release.
