Emma graduated from Dalhousie University in 2016 with her Masters in Physiotherapy. She previously received her undergraduate degree, also from Dalhousie, with a double major in microbiology and immunology. Emma obtained her Advanced Diploma in manual and manipulative therapy in 2024 making her a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT) Emma is certified in Acupuncture (CAFCI) and functional dry needling as well. Emma was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and grew up in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates before moving to Halifax in 2002. Outside of work, Emma loves gardening, hiking, road biking, skating. She plays ringette and has previously participated in speed skating. She loves playing with her sons and fostering a love of the outdoors in them. She loves to travel and would someday like to go to Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
