Hey! I’m Allyson Moore (she/her) and I’ve been a physiotherapist in the Ottawa area since graduating from McMaster University in 2015. Each person has a unique story - my goal is to work with you to develop an understanding of your past & current injuries in order to develop a plan to support your recovery and performance goals. We will use a combination of treatment techniques that are patient-centered & evidenced-based, such as education, exercise, manual therapy, and dry needling. Over the years, I have also taken numerous courses focusing on running injuries, gait analysis, manual therapy, concussion, and vertigo. I’m certified in both acupuncture and Kinetacore functional dry needling. When not working, you can find me training for sports such as, triathlon, cross country skiing and backcountry camping. I also coach both youth & adult athletes in triathlon and running. My treatment approach includes: manual joint mobilization/manipulation, soft tissue release techniques, dry needling/acupuncture, biomechanical gait analysis, therapeutic exercise prescription and taping.
The initial assessment will consist of taking a detailed history and a physical examination to prescribe an individualized management plan and first treatment.
