Madyson completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. Through her academic and clinical training, she developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, injury prevention, and optimizing movement and performance. Madyson’s passion for hip physiotherapy stems from her own experiences with hip injuries as an athlete, as well as the opportunity to work with and receive treatment from Dave Lindsay. Her clinical approach aligns closely with Active Hip Centre’s philosophy, emphasizing patient education and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies designed for the patient to perform at home to support long-term hip health. She has completed post-graduate training in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS/Dry Needling), which she incorporates, when appropriate, to compliment the progressive home-based treatment plan. With a background as an international competitive dancer, Madyson brings a strong appreciation for movement and performance, which continues to shape her clinical practice and active lifestyle.
