Saheb Sandhu, BKin, MScPT, AIM Level 5, AN-IMS Clinical Instructor – UBC MPT Program Saheb Sandhu is an experienced physiotherapist who holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Exercise Science from University of the Fraser Valley. As a former junior hockey player, Saheb brings firsthand insight into sports-related injuries and the demands of high-performance athletics. Currently, Saheb serves as a physiotherapist for Vancouver Football Club in the Canadian Premier League and is a Clinical Instructor in the Master of Physical Therapy program at University of British Columbia. Expertise in Musculoskeletal Health : Saheb has completed all five levels of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Program through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is currently preparing to challenge the advanced examination to attain Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). He provides specialized hands-on care and advanced clinical reasoning for complex orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. His approach is evidence-based and individualized, combining manual therapy, spinal and peripheral manipulation, dry needling (IMS), exercise prescription, movement retraining, and patient education to optimize recovery and long-term performance. Vestibular & Concussion Rehabilitation : Saheb has advanced post-graduate training in vestibular and concussion therapy, including courses from Duke University School of Medicine’s Vestibular Rehabilitation Program, as well as both the Introductory and Advanced courses from The Dizziness and Balance Clinic. He is experienced in the treatment of dizziness/balance disorders, vertigo, postural stability, gaze stability, and redirection of motion sensitivity. Various disorders such as Labyrinthitis, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), Vestibular Neuritis, Meniere’s Disease, Concussions and Small Vessel Ischemia Disease. Saheb has extensive experience treating athletic injuries, post-operative conditions, motor vehicle accident injuries, and workplace-related injuries. With a lifelong passion for hockey and an active lifestyle that includes road cycling, skiing, golfing, soccer, and strength training, he believes strongly in the transformative power of movement for both physical and mental well-being.
