Dr. Naomi is on Maternity Leave Currently Dr. Naomi Wegleitner completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Victoria. It was upon completion of her degree that she confirmed she wanted to be involved in the world of integrative health and was introduced to Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She then went on to complete a Double Major in Acupuncture & TCM Diploma at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During this time Dr. Wegleitner completed copious amounts of clinic hours and graduated with the Clinical Excellence Award in 2019. She also spent a month at MianYang Hospital of TCM in China. During that time Dr. Wegleitner was able to rotate between multiple different departments and learn from the incredible Doctors of the renowned hospital. Dr. Wegleitner focuses on healing from the inside out. Emphasizing getting to the root of the issue, not just numbing the branch. Combining modalities of acupuncture, herbal formulas, cupping and gua sha she uses a symptomatic diagnosis to best treat her patients. She places a strong emphasis on the prevention of disease and wants to ensure the body is operating optimally. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can be used for any ‘dis-ease’ the body or mind may be experiencing. Dr. Wegleitner is a registered acupuncturist through the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA).
