Colleen Dolan, LMT has been a licensed massage therapist since January 2007. She has over 12 years of experience working in her own massage practice in Dallas helping clients with high stress lifestyles, anxiety/depression relaxation, trauma healing, recovery/ sports massage for recreational and professional athletes, and chronic pain management. She is trained in family-centered bodywork including prenatal and postpartum massage, infant, and pediatric massage with certifications in touch therapy for NICU, hospital based pediatric massage, touch therapy for common childhood ailments, and touch therapy for Autism/Sensory Processing Disorder. She is always learning and loves staying current with research and training. Most recently, shes added functional movement therapy to her services including kinesiotaping and table Thai massage, as well as some fun spa therapy!
Massage Therapy
A soothing, nervous-systemfocused massage designed to promote relaxation and a sense of calm. This session uses slow, rhythmic techniques and gentle to moderate pressure to help reduce physical tension commonly associated with anxiety, such as tight shoulders, neck, jaw, and shallow breathing patterns.
Kinesiology
Kinesiology tape is like a neurological hug.When applied to the skin, it changes the sensory input into the brain, bringing more awareness/representation to the region, which helps to change the output, like pain.Many different stickiness levels perfect for every client- kids, teens, adults, and prenatal!
