Jeff is a highly skilled physiotherapist with a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years. He holds a Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Jeff is a certified Vestibular Therapist (Duke University School of Medicine), and has undergone specialized training in assessing and treating dizziness/vertigo, including conditions such as BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). To ensure the highest level of accuracy in his assessments and treatments, Jeff uses special infrared video goggles. These goggles are an essential tool that enables him to thoroughly evaluate and treat his patients. Certified as a Gunn IMS Practitioner, Jeff is adept at using Intramuscular stimulation (also known as Dry Needling) to help his patients achieve optimal outcomes. He is also certified in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. He has completed level 3 in Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy and is a proud member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Jeff takes great pleasure in helping athletes and non-athletes of all ages to recover from injuries and surgeries by restoring function, identifying and correcting muscle imbalances, and addressing postural issues and balance deficits. Jeff believes that patient education is an integral part of the rehabilitation process. He takes the time to ensure that his patients have a clear understanding of their body and their condition, empowering them to stay healthy and prevent future injuries For certain neck and back issues, he may use spinal decompression therapy, while Shockwave therapy has proven to be highly effective for a variety of conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tendinopathy, and shoulder pain. Born and raised in British Columbia, Jeff loves spending time with his 10 year old son, and the rest of his family who live in the Lower Mainland. He enjoys keeping active through outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, swimming and cycling. In addition, Jeff has a passion for travel and loves experiencing different cultures and cuisines.
