Claire Toffelmire is an experienced Athletic Therapist with a background in high-performance sport and a passion for patient-centred care. She spent over a decade with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL, serving as Head Athletic Therapist from 2018 onward, and now works with Canada’s national Flag Football team. Claire’s experience spans a wide range of elite environments, including the National Ballet of Canada, Soccer Canada, and Hockey Canada, as well as local teams, supporting active individuals of all levels. She began her journey at the University of British Columbia, working within the athletics department before pursuing advanced training in athletic therapy, soft tissue release, and facial stretch therapy. Drawing from both her clinical expertise and her background in competitive dance and field hockey, Claire takes an patient-centred approach to prioritize safe return to sport and activities of daily living. Her approach blends performance driven rehab with a strong focus on long-term health, helping active individuals return to what they love, feeling confident, capable, and supported.
