Nikki trained under Patricia Butler at NEASM in Jonesboro, AR, and has been licensed since 2006. She specializes in swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, and TMJD work, but enjoys performing any technique necessary to assist the client's well being. Nikki also has a bachelor's and master's degree in Exercise Science from ASU giving her a deeper understanding of the human body and a whole body approach to treatment. Massage is her way of changing the the world- one body at a time. Experience, education, and a desire to help others have led Nikki to the creation of a new service -- Personalized self care instruction.
Massage
Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Pillows, props, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. Lymph helps removes waste and toxins from the bodily tissues, and some health conditions such as fibromyalgia and lymphedema can cause build up. Technique is also often applied following surgical procedures to assist in the recovery process. Includes cupping and scraping if necessary. Taping can be a great addition!
