David moved to Canada from Taiwan at ten years old, and has since called Coquitlam home. He attended Simon Fraser University for his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before going to Queen’s University for his Masters in Physical Therapy. Before going into physiotherapy, David worked in kinesiology with patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents. This is where he learned and saw firsthand the benefits of active exercise as part of the rehabilitation process. Today, exercise is still very much an essential part of his treatments. David finds satisfaction in helping his patients feel better, which is a driving force in his offering as many treatment modalities as possible for his patients. He has taken post-graduate courses on manual therapy, vestibular therapy, concussion therapy, taping and is certified in acupuncture and Gunn IMS. In his spare time, David enjoys hanging out with his wife and sons. His favorite sports are snowboarding, basketball and volleyball.
