Jillian received her undergraduate degree training at University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. During this time, she worked at an outpatient physical therapy office, and volunteered at the #1 ranked rehabilitation hospital in the US, the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) where she assisted in treating spinal cord injury patients. After moving to California in 2010, she developed health issues due to prolonged stress. After seeing several specialists and having limited progress with medications, she turned to acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to help her in the healing process. Through her own experience, she has found her passion for helping others heal through acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Jillian graduated with honors from Yo San University with a degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a specialty in Orthopedics. She is currently obtaining her doctorate at Yo San University. She is licensed by the California State Board of Acupuncture, and nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by NCCAOM. While in school, she completed her externships at Venice Family Clinic and Wise and Healthy Aging in Santa Monica. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, pilates, traveling and spending time with her loved ones.
